Location Change

More Vendors, Time, and Chess Goodness
Our vendor selection has just expanded! We are pleased to welcome Kyoto Anime and Clubhouse Comics to our vendors' room. The Summer Matsuri schedule has also been updated. Cosplay chess and ConProv have swapped timeslots, and Friday's events will now start at 4pm instead of 6pm.
Lastly, those wishing to sign up for Cosplay Chess should do so by August 23rd. If you sign up with your character by this date, you will receive a custom badge with your character and chess position!

Vendors, Schedule, and Cosplay Events
We are pleased to announce a number of new changes and additions to our website! The events page has been updated with a preliminary schedule, and we have also added a few events to the listing. Additionally, we are pleased to announce Black Knight Comics will be vending at a Summer Matsuri. With this announcement, vendor and artist registration is now open! Please see the registration page for more information.
We have made some changes to some of our cosplay events. Our Masquerade Lite rules have been updated to allow a greater variety of entries. If you have performed a skit at another convention, you are now welcome to enter it in the Masquerade Lite. Skits that have been entered at other conventions will compete against each other in a special category, and not be judged alongside normal skits.
Finally, we have updated the Cosplay Chess page with more information about the characters we are looking for.

Event Schedule and Registration Update
The registration page has been updated with registration times. Additionally, a list of events for Friday, August 29, have been added to the events page. In the next few weeks, we will be posting a preliminary schedule to allow people to plan their day accordingly.We are also pleased to announce that New England Fan Experience will be setting up a cosplay photobooth.

Summer Matsuri postponed to August 30
Bad News. We have just been informed that due to unforeseen issues with the venue which will not be resolved until July, we will not be able to host a Summer Matsuri on the original date.
The good news is that a Summer Matsuri has not been canceled. A Summer Matsuri has been rescheduled to August 30. This date was chosen to avoid conflicting with the upcoming and very busy schedule of summer anime conventions on the east cost.
With the change in date, we would also like to announce that we will be able to have additional events on the evening of Friday, August 29. Stay tuned for information about this and what we expect will be a big (and good) announcement over the next week.
Finally, we would like to offer a sincere apology to everyone who had adjusted their schedules to attend a Summer Matsuri. We realize that some have been changing work schedules, canceling plans, reserving hotel rooms, and preparing costumes for this event, and we are deeply sorry to have this wrench thrown into the works so close to show time.

Announcing a Summer Matsuri!
ICenter in Salem, NH along with staff from Another Anime Convention are proud to announce a new joint venture, called a Summer Matsuri. This all-day "mini" convention will be on June 21, 2008 in the ICenter facility. The day will be filled with events such as cosplay chess, a masquerade and a Smash Brothers Tournament. There will also be panels and a video game room, and at night it will end with a concert by Echostream and then a dance.
